Echo Triathlon 2011

This was the first time that we decided to try taking the kids to a triathlon. We had to wake them up at 4:30am. They did awesome. Grandma Toni got to come to her first triathlon too.
The kids loved packing their snacks in their new lunch boxes they just got for school.
My mom got to come too. She has always been such a good support to us in whatever we do. She adores Travis:)
This was the regional championship so everyone was pumped. The energy at these things are amazing.
So Cooper wasn't a fan of the 4am wake up call. He was pretty cranky the whole time. Travis tried to cheer him up with some tunes but it was a no go. It was hard to try to keep him away from his daddy.
Here is daddy getting ready for the swim. He was giving Cooper stones but I totally cut Cooper out!!! NICE!!!
The start of the swim.

He said the swim was his hardest event this time. His legs were cramped up pretty bad in this picture. He was nervous because he didn't get to train as hard for this triathlon. He was a few minutes longer in the swim today.
Transition to the bike.

This picture is sweet. You can see the bikers coming in and the runners going out. Travis said this bike course was his favorite one ever.
To pass the time by the kids made some signs in the kids station.
We had to get some face painting done too.
Easton wanted his to be on his huge muscle:)
I just couldn't resist and had to have the lady paint Travis is SEXY on my face!!
Brighten was daddy's #1 fan. With her cow bell, face paint and sign. She was loving it!!
The boys chillin out waiting for dad to finish the bike.
Here he is. Travis was so excited to have the kids there. He said it helped him to push himself harder.

He did his best in the run. He felt really good.
I love this picture of Cooper trying to cheer with the big kids with his cow bell.

What a proud moment for a daddy! He loves his kids and they adore their daddy!!
Travis gave Easton his visor from his last race. Easton loves it so much. Looks like a mini Travis for sure!!
Getting hugs from his momma!! So sweet!
Such a proud wife. Yes babe you do inspire me..........but there is no freaking way I will ever do one of these with you!!! NEVER!!! This can be your thing! You rocked it today!! Love you!!
Getting ready to hop back on the buses at the end of the race. We love you daddy!!
His final time was 1hr 46min which is 5 minutes faster then his best time!! Way to go Travis!!!
